Arts at OLPH
“Artistic talent is a gift from God and whoever discovers it in himself has a certain obligation: to know they cannot waste this talent, but must develop it.”
― Saint Pope John Paul II
Our Lady of Perpetual Help School aspires to nurture the spirit and mind of every student. One of the ways we do this is through the integration of the arts. Arts education fosters creativity, critical thinking, self-expression, emotional intelligence, and can improve motor skills, all while enhancing academic achievement by providing a unique outlet for learning. Students are encouraged to express themselves through visual art and performance opportunities throughout the year so they can further develop important skills like problem-solving, collaboration, and communication with these artistic mediums.
